Tech Dairy Science and Technology Programme, the first of its kind in the state was initiated in the year 1993 under the aegis of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences of Kerala Agricultural University. Later it was upgraded to the status of a college in the year 1998. With the advent of the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2010.
